Take-Two pleaded thirty marks against a small marketing agency. Then it walked away.

In November 2024, the publisher of Grand Theft Auto opposed a North Carolina agency's application to register BROCKSTAR MEDIA. The agency's founder answered the opposition himself. Take-Two withdrew, the Board dismissed the case with prejudice, and the mark registered. The full account, with the emails from Take-Two's lawyers, is now a book. This site covers what the public record shows about how Take-Two polices trademarks, seventeen days before its most important launch in a decade.
